Dr. Xu is the Managing Partner at Pine Vision Medical Technology, the VP and Chief AI Technology Advisor at the US-Asia Innovation Gateway, a Co-Founder at the Silicon Valley Future Academy, and a Partner at the Corporate Innovators Huddle (Silicon Valley). He also serves as a Venture Advisor for entrepreneurs, investors, and corporate senior leaders on AI-driven new technology ventures in healthcare and industry. He is currently on the Advisory Board of AI wearable Digital Healthcare startup Cyrcadia Health and Blockchain for transportation startup CarBlock, respectively. In the past, he has served on the Industrial Advisory Board of UC Berkeley EECS Department (2009-2017) and as a General Manager of Siemens Technology to Business (Silicon Valley, 2009-2017). At Siemens, he and his team has supported the growth of near one hundred high caliber technology start-ups in North America through co-innovation and investment in the technology areas such as AI, Big Data, IOT, Blockchain, Advanced Robotics, and AR/VR.
