Director of Community Outreach and Development, CLUSA

Chuck Ng is the Founding Director of Community Outreach & Development for Civic Leadership USA (CLUSA) where he cultivates and builds network of local & regional grassroots organizations for the advancement of Asian Americans in leadership positions in the US.  Additionally, Chuck has dedicated a considerable amount of time in community building/services relating to cross border collaborations, investments and entrepreneurship. He is Founder/ President of the UC Berkeley China Alumni Assoc. BCAIA, which won “UC Berkeley Alumni Club of the Year”.  Chuck is also Founder and Co-Chairman of Berkeley China Summit which is the largest university-led international conference in Silicon Valley with speakers in Nobel Prize and Turing awards.  Furthermore, Chuck has been an entrepreneur/investor/advisor/startup coach/mentor of UC Berkeley AI/AR/VR Lab, SkyDeck Accelerator, Tsinghua/Berkeley Global Technology Entrepreneurship (GTE) Program, Tsinghua Xlab, MIT-CHIEF Business Plan Competition, Carnegie Mellon Univ. (CMU) Summit Business Plan Competition, RocketSpace Accelerator (incubated Uber), Hong Kong International AI Conference, Tsinghua University’s Schwarzman College and Shanghai Big Data Alliance.  In recognition of his community leadership, Chuck is the recipient of Bradford King Award for Excellence (given annually to an outstanding Berkeley alumnus in community services and leadership) and recognized by Asia Society as an Asia 21 Young Leader. Chuck is a graduate of UC Berkeley and has dual MBA degrees from Tsinghua University & INSEAD.  He speaks Cantonese, Mandarin, English and Japanese.
