Gil Frostig is a veteran of the High-Tech industry.
Gil spent most of his career at Intel and at Qualcomm as well as
direct involvement with many start-up companies.
At Intel Qualcomm Gil drove new technologies and businesses, P&Ls,
M&As, and more.
This included among other things, delivering the WiFi solution to
Intel’s Centrino Platform, which enabled the WiFi revolution.
Gil led Intel’s LAN products and business, and led special purpose
processors like Atom-based SoCs, ISPs, Network processors, etc.
At Qualcomm Gil drove Bluetooth and WiFi products which captured the
#1 position in the marketplace.
During the Qualcomm tenure Gil was in charge and managed a large R&D
team in Shanghai.
Since getting to the Silicon Valley in 2000 Gil got involved with
many
start-ups, mentoring and advising (Biz plans, BoDs, BoAs, funding,
customers).
