Executive Producer of SVTAGS
Heather Durham works with a select client list on marketing, public relations, events, community outreach, social media and other marketing related functions. She is well versed in producing content for clients and likes to say the only thing she did not have in her marketing tool belt was film production.
That all changed in 2009 Ms. Durham launched Silicon Valley -Technology, Art, Green and Sustainability (SVTAGS) a cable TV show. Her purpose in creating this show was to help educate the public, connecting them to what’s happening with technology, art, green and sustainability in Silicon Valley and beyond. She now has 187 shows produced and the show airs in 20 Silicon Valley TV Stations. Her reach alone in the San Jose and Campbell area is at a million viewers.
The Mission for SVTAGS is: To share information about companies, non-profits, people, and places concerning Technology, Art, Green and Sustainability (TAGS). The intention is to foster growth and learning in the TAGS areas of interest; connecting people with industries and resources.
“These past 10 years of interviews and production of this show has been amazing, it’s gone by so fast! Some of the highlights of people and places I’ve filmed are: Gloria Steinem, Deepak Chopra, Bill Gates & President Bill Clinton in Washington DC at the Aarpa-e DOE Summit. This past year I at was at the Climate Summit in San Francisco, (still in editing), and I drove Laguna Seca Raceway testing out new cars the past 3 years (and only one other women was there driving!).”
She will be continuing on with this venture of SVTAGS TV, but will be adding to it more productions of speaker events, how-to events/DYI events and next possibly a book! Ms. Durham is also very excited about a possible trip to China with Dina Ding this summer!a
