Julian Chun-Chung Chow

Professor Julian Chun-Chung Chow is a leading thinker and scholar in community practice. His current research interests include community practice and service delivery in urban poverty and ethnic and immigrant neighborhoods; community analysis and needs assessment; program planning and development; and cultural competency services.
In 2011, Dr. Chow received a Fulbright Scholarship to teach at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, where he studied the development of social service systems and infrastructure in China and also conducted research as part of a larger comparative study looking at how recent Chinese immigrants fare in Hong Kong, Taiwan and the San Francisco Bay Area.

周镇忠教授是美国加州大学伯克利分校社会福利学院终身教授,加州大学伯克利分校中国研究中心研究员。他是美国心理卫生研究院公共学术研究员奖的得奖者,取得了由社区组织及社会行政协会颁发的优秀年轻学术研究新进学者奖。他同时名列2014年美国马奎斯「世界名人录第31版」和「美国名人录第68版」。2016年,周教授获得了美国政府颁发的美国杰出公民奖。当前,周教授担任贵州伯克利大数据创新研究中心的美方主任。近期他在中国主要的工作,就是利用大数据分析研究解决地方的社会福利难题,提高民生服务水平,提升政府治理能力。
