Dr. Peter Hsieh (謝忠高博士), General Partner of Acorn Pacific Ventures, is one of the few venture capitalists that has about 10 years of direct venture capital experience in Silicon Valley, and another 10 years of the same in Greater China. Ventures sponsored by Peter have created values of over USD$8B. Peter has successfully led investment into Oplink Communications, OmniVision, iSoftStone, Lattice Power, and Leyou. There are also numerous investments he participated that generated handsome returns. Peter has a PhD in Ultrasound and Optics from Stanford, and a BS ME from National Taiwan University.
