Xiang Lin is a partner at Acorn Summit Ventures, focusing on AI and consumer technology. She began her career as a software engineer and then product manager in consumer electronics, mobile applications and mobile games. She worked in Multi-National technology companies like SanDisk, Microsoft, as well as startups across China and US. Between 2004 and 2008, Xiang launched SanDisk Sansa MP3 player, the No.2 market share portable music player in North America behind Apple iPod. Xiang started the international business division for Hoolai Games, one of the leaders in Chinese social and mobile game industry. Prior to her role at Acorn Summit Ventures, Xiang was COO of DeepMotion, a leader in using artificial Intelligence to create physics based character animation. Xiang has a BS from Tsinghua University and a MS from Brown University, both in Computer Science.
